Hun its march 25th.you need to go and do a home prgnancy test[with morning sample] or go to your doctors for ablood test

Yes, that could have been implantation bleeding because you did have sex around the time you should have ovulated. Its best to take a pregnancy test just to be sure.

You should wait another 4-5 days and try again. Sometimes the HPT can't detect the HCG that early on.

Well I did a home test before I went to sleep last night it said negative, but wit my son I have now, it took me like 2 negative test before I got a positive, they said I got pregnant June 13 and I didn't turn a HPT till July 5th

Implanation bleeding has not been proven either direction.

It's equally possible that you just had an "off" period (which happens to all of us occasionally) or that you're pregnant.

If you didn't get a positive HPT for you son, then I'd get my butt into the doctor for a blood test if I were you.

And if you don't want to get pregnant, get your butt on birth control while you're there.

Well I was on birth control but I didn't wait as long as my doc told me to we had unprotected sex and I came hom and realized I missed my pill for that night

Well, seeing as how you missed a pill, this could have thrown your period off. But since you are only 6 days late, this is not really considered late in the medical community even for the most regular woman. Now, add that you have started oral contraceptives. Your period just may have been thrown off track.

If you are concerned you need to take another pregnancy test using first morning urine only. If it comes up negative, wait a week and take another one.

When I had the same problem I went to my doctors in the afternoon done a pregnancy test and it was negative but I wasn't so sure that evening I went to tesco got another test ( pack of 2 ) and done it before I went to bed it was again negative, I then spoke to my partner about it and he said its better to be safe than sorry do one more in the morning if its negative then we will agree with it... I done the pregnancy test and it come up positive, you really do need to do the test in the morning I promise u, if your worried or uncertain go to your GP or local drop in clinic they will do a pregnancy test and if its negative they will do tests for other things ( don't take that in the wrong way though please )

Bottom line, if you don't want another child then use birth control. Don't forget to take your pill, maybe use a condom as well so that you can be sure.

If you can't remember to take your birth control pills maybe you should try something else like the depo injection or the coil,or the bar or the pill patch there are so many I'm not going to list them all but I'm asingle mum of 2 myeldest is 2 years old and my youngest is 5months I'm on the depo because with all the stuff I have to do during the day I forget to take any meds I was on antibiotics for ajaw infection and I forgot to take afew and had to be put on more because it didn't clear up because I had forgotten to take them

This goes with birth control pills if you forget to take them you will get pregnant and you should have taken the morning after pill because you forgotten the birth control its common sense hun

I'm on the injection it doesn't hurt [i hate needles and was dreading it] but it doesn't hurt at all I get the shot every 3months and I don't have to worrie about any more little me's turning up lol

By looking at your dates it seems like u could be pregnant because u have more chance that u ovulate(produce an egg) around the 21st day after your period.take care

Wait to take a hpt after your missed period. There are some hpt tests out there that claim they can tell you if you are pregnant before your missed period but for more accurate results it is best to wait until you have missed your period. Also, why spend the money if you haven't yet missed a period. Best of luck.

I would be at the store already buying a test! Some tests can determine pregancy as early as 7 days before you are expected to have a period. How accurate they are is debatable that early. But you have had a good month between your periods, SO I would say get one today and find out. If it is negative I wouldn't get to excited just yet. I would repeat it in a week if still no period. However, I would have to do one today. I don't think I could wait. I believe if you are pregnant it should show up, it has been over a month since the start of your last period. Good Luck.

I will say this. You are obviously very stressed about this, and that could also be the reason that your period is delayed. If the test still says negative then you probably aren't pregnant, but you have to put your mind at ease once and for all.

I'm not to stressed about it, but like I have said later in this blog that wit my son it took forever to get a positive on a home test, I kind of in a way want to have a baby!! I think I will be disappointed if I am not but thankful at the same time if that makes sense

After reading the entire questions and answers. I have a question for you. When did you start your birth control pills? And did you miss more than just that one night's pill, or were you off on other ones too. If you just started taking the pill, your period maybe messed up because of that. When you had the brown spotting that you thought might be implantaion bleeding where were you in your pill pack? Was that your period week?
I think all that information is need to really figure out where you are at in your cycle.

I was on the pill for 16 days, I missed Friday nights pill which was the night we had unprotected sex, I was never really on time wit my pills, and when I had the brown to pink bleeding, it was supposed to be my period week but it never came after I had that. I think I answered all

You said you did a pregnancy test this am- So I am assuming that was with your first morning urine. If it was going to be positive, I think It would have been. So you could wait a week and then repeat the test. I think that the spotting stuff that you had was your period- I believe it was messed up because of the pill. However, if you really want to know, I would simply call you doctor's office explain the situation and see what they have to say. They may think doing a blood draw to make sure would be the best route.
I think they tell you to wait 2 months when you start the pill just to be absolutely safe. If they didn't tell you that and people started to have unprotected sex from the first day on the pill I think that the pill would have a much higher failure rate than it does. And everybody's bodies react differently to different hormones. Maybe you respond well and the pill could be effective within the first 2 weeks of taking it. My guess is that the pill did stop you from ovulating (which is what it is supposed to do) and so you wouldn't have been able to get pregnant.
Are you still taking the pill? If so, maybe you want to talk to the doctor anyway, if by some odd chance you were pregnant you wouldn't want to cause any damage to the developing baby by continuing to take it.

Hey, Iam not sure, maybe you just skipped your period this month. That is what the doctor told me I did.. I still haven't started mine yet.. so I didn't have a period in march so I guess I will start in April. But the blood test came back negative, so Iam not pregnant. Well I stopped taking because after the incident... and we continued having unprotected sex after.. I guess you can say we are trying for a baby

But they also told me to take the test in the morning and not at night (I did it at night) and they say not to drink a lot of fluids which I did lol... I didn't know about not drinking a lot until after I did it

I Have Cysts On My Left Ovaries, And One Erupted That's What Caused My Period To Mess Up, That's Why I Have Been Feeling Sick And Bloated, Because The Fluid From The Ruptured Cyst Is In My Pelvis I Think She Said Something Like That...

Ouch, is there anything they can do? Did they give you any advice, med's, what are they going to do about this?

I would make an appointment with your OBGYN as soon as possible. I don't know anything about your condition, but I wouldn't leave it for much longer. Better to get it checked out by a specialist and find a solution.

I bet it is. No need to suffer, go to your OBGYN. Let us know how it goes, and ask the doctor if you can start your birth control again. I wouldn't have unprotected sex, or even have sex period until you have this all under control. I am glad you found out what is wrong. And cyst are awful I have been having them since Dec. They won't give you meds for it they say it has to go away on their on and will sometimes burst, like yours. My first ones did and I could not even move I was in so much pain. They will just want you to check back in 3 months to make sure they are gone. I have not had a period since Jan because of mine and had to be put on because to make them go away. I was also very bloated to the point where it was extremely uncomfortable to sit down. Sex will also make them hurt worse .I wish you luck and hope you get to feeling better.

You the sex thing is true because it hurts when I have sex badly.. ya they gave me pain meds and that's all.. ya I did go bak and forth on the baby thing but right now my 14 month old is enough for me. So I'm glad it was negative me and my BF decided in about a year after everything is stable with us getting a place and stuff like that then we will have a baby.. and I am going to start my BC up again and use condoms to!!
