I know this question has probably been asked so many times, but here it goes. Well my period is about 11 days late. I have tender breasts and go to the restroom a lot exspecially at night. Yesterday I had a pink and brownish spotting not enough to us a pad, just when I wiped myself I would see it. Today I woke up and went to the bathroom and there was bright red discharge. I wore a tampoon, but when I changed it, the tampoon has very little red discharge on it. I took a test about 4 days which came back negative. Should I take another test to see or is this my period playing tricks on me?

Sounds like your period. It tends to play tricks on us every once in a while.

Are you trying to get pregnant?

If you are testing remember to use first morning urine, it gives the most accurate results.

I meant to say 11 days late. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant.

I would take another pregnancy test, or better yet, go to the doctor, their tests are more accurate.
