I have a brand new computer that I have built and been struggling to working properly. My problem is that you can't plug in any USB plugs, add any updates, or put any downloads onto the computer except for things from the internet. Does anyone have any ideas as to what my problem might be and how I may be able to fix the problem?

What brand and model of motherboard do you have?
What happens when you plug in a USB Flash Memory device (USB plug)?

If USB isn't working, I'll take a blind stab that you didn't install the necessary chipset drivers for your motherboard.
