I have a craftsman 42" cut riding lawn mover that I need to replace the belt on can anyone assist me.

Which belt are you referring to here?

Cutting deck belt, just put new one on and it slips off, same craftsman belt that was same as original. This is about the fourth time Ive had to get belt put back on
