Hello,
My parents allowed by brother's girlfriend to move in to their home after her parents kicked her out. When she moved in about a year ago it was suppose to be temporary. She was supposed to be out in Dec/07 but she lost her job.

My parents have given her until April 10 to move out they told her in Feb/08 that she had until April 10. It's the 17 of March and she has not even looked for a place to live.
She gets mail at the house, but has never paid a penny in rent and there is no lease. I understand that she has residency and if she refuses to go on the 10th my parent will have to evict her?

How much notice do they have to give her? 30 days? Then they file for eviction?
Thanks for the help.

They have already gave her notice, when in Feb they told her she had to be out by April 10th. So April 11th if she is not out, they file in housing court for the eviction.

Does it matter if they gave her verbal notice? She has been told repeatly that April 10 she is out.
