Hi everyone , thanks for taking some time off to read my post. Hopefully it doesn't sound silly to you but I just need some help regarding Microsoft Office 2003 / 2007.

The thing is at the moment , my operating system is Windows Vista Home Edition and it does not come with Microsoft Office 2007. My School requires me to have a Microsoft office as a necessity for our laptops and I am also sure that Microsoft Office 2007 is what the school is currently using. I understand that most probably you guys would recommend me to purchase my Microsoft Office 2007 but I am trying to save money since I am a student. Hopefully you understand.

1) So , I was wondering if it is actually possible to purchase Microsoft Office 2003 , and upgrade it to 2007?

2) If not , is it possible that documents from Microsoft Office 2007 can be opened and edited with Microsoft Office 2003? Using certain programs or updates?

It would be really great if you could give me some suggestions on what I can do. At the moment , I have an acer laptop ( without Microsoft office) and a desktop with Microsoft office 2003. If there is no other way, I will find a way to purchase Microsoft Office 2007.

Once again thanks for reading up my post! =)
Bless you!
