But like I said before, it happens the most in my basement. Um, it happens A LOT in my room too. I see people, that aren't there.

One time my mom came in my room when I thought I was talking to her. I thought she was standing in the corner looking out the window but she asked me why I was talking to myself, and I looked around very confused and my mom asked me if I was okay and I just said "okay" cause how many of you say "HEY MOM!! I JUST TALKED TO A DARK FIGURE STARING OUT THE WINDOW! OKAY!!" not many... at least I think...

Also, I thought psychics could speak to spirits? I can't hear them. I can speak aloud and they can understand me, but I can't hear them reply to me? Am I going insane or do I really have a gift?

Yes, but it's also scary! I am scared to go to my doctor because I know for sure that he will tell my mom and then she will put me in an institute. And if that doesn't happen for some reason, then they will scan my brain for tumors and stuff like that and we don't have the money for it. And then ill be put in an institution.

Well... it is but it isn't?. sometimes I feel like a TOTALLY different person. I feel like I've got no control over myself and/or my actions and then when someone can finally snap me out of my trance, I am just scattered brained. But I love seeing and talking to them. Though they don't talk back. I wonder if it's possible for the spirits to take over a body with a spirit already in habiting it? Hm...

If its not hurting you to where your not going to do something to hurt you or anyone else then I don't know, you might want to check into some counseling to see maybe if they can talk to you

I don't handle shrinks very well. I don't know why either. I just stay away from them. It's not fear as you may think, I just don't care for them at all. I would much rather go insane with all of them.

Sometimes psychics and people that are into the paranormal open themselves up to stuff like this. You may need to get a good exorcist or something to rid you of these because they increase their nuisance with time. Better to stop them while you are ahead.

You might have gift or you may have psychiatric problems. Your house could also be haunted.
First you need to get checked out by a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist... you might also need to see a sympathetic priest.

Have you been meddling in psychic activities? If you have you may need to be exorcised or delivered. Speak to a pastor or priest

Hey your not crazy! I have something kind of like that. The gift you have runs in my family. My mom says they are just spirits trying to get to the other side or they are there to protect you. So don't worry!

OK.. let me tell you some symptoms you will have if it really is a spirit and not your mind playing tricks on you.First of all you lose concentration an anything you want to do.Secondly you get angry and misbehave with everyone without any reason at all. You start hearing some strange voices in your mind which you can't stop.
If these are true and including the fact that you are seeing things,then you might actually be with a spirit that has not crossed over

Your not insane, people communicate with spirits in different ways. You may have to concentrate harder to hear them, because they might be trying to speak with you thro your mind, or by asking god to let you hear them.

Oh and one way you can tell between a spirit and a ghost is that ghost look like the way they died and they seem unhappy because they haven't crossed the other side, spirits are happy peaceful and usually loved ones, though you may not know them. Make sense?

Arrrrrg I'M PISSED OFF! I just typed out a very detailed response to you explaining how useful this gift is and how REAL it is... and it all ing disappeared lol. So.. since I do not want to type it all out again... I would be very happy to have a conversation with you about it some time when you come online. But anyway... since I started typing a lot again... (theres a lot to say about this topic... like I wrote so much the last time before it all disappeared and I have only covered like 2 parts of it).. I will ask you a few questions so I can determine what the deal is.

First of all... how old are you? Many different types of gifts (ex. Clairvoyance, telepathy, mediums) are born into different generations. The newer ones are called indigo or crystal children. I am classified as an indigo child since I am 16 born in 1991, although I have been crowned an early born crystal child (a newer generation of kids born late 90s-2000s) due to my speed in spiritual growth, the power I actually hold, and the type of gifts I actually have and what I do better in. It's also a great indication that you do in fact hold a very special gift if you : have strong belief in peace/equality/respect/abundance, are extremely rebellious to authority due to your belief in equality, great love and passion for the arts and activities, great talent in the arts, you seem to just know everything, you seem to be great at anything you try, you have angry blackouts when you are confused and things seem seriously unjustified, you have the tendency to always be reading people and knowing how they feel all the time without even realizing you are naturally reading these people's minds, people pop up when you think or speak of them, you can guess who's calling you, you have the tendency to be able to feel a phone about to ring before it does, the TV or radio ALWAYS jinxes you in conversation, deep thought, or just surrounding situations.. usually mysteriously seeming like a forced statement from a higher power, you can physically experience different senses you imagine very easily (ex. You think of pizza, you can literally taste pizza or you can think of something and literally see or hear or feel it)... omg so much more to go on about... but I'm going to leave it at this for now and wait for your response... I would be more than happy to help you become in control of your gift as much as I am in the next month or even few weeks. With someone like me guiding you free of charge, things will move a long much faster than when I had to actually research everything (out of my own enjoyment and curiosity)...

And I'm being so serious.. . I got rid of my 5 years of pure zits, my insecurity, my anger, my laziness and so many other things just because I know how to change the balance in my body and the blood flow and different things like that. You're body scientifically provenly reacts to what your subconscious mind is based on. All it takes for a lot of things is getting as close to your subconscious mind as you can to trick it and change it up a little to mold your life the way you want it. Like... just going into your alpha state of mind (the level in which you are in between your full awareness being your Delta state, and your dream state) you can say "I am soooooooo tired" and keep commenting on that and force a few yawns and vividly imagine yourself sleeping and try to relive the feeling you get before you fall asleep, and WOW believe it or not you will be sleeping in no time! I did this for my insomnia because like with all my other problems... pills and medications never ever ever ever ever ever ever seemed to work. And by the way... if you don't know how to get to the Alpha state of mind... its really easy... just meditate and you are there. It seems all complicated.. but all it takes is... believing its going to happen so that negative energy can't distract you from shifting to your relaxed and open alpha state of mind, and just relax. A big part of having success with growing your gift of connecting with spirits takes faith. SERIOUSLY STOP DOUBTING! Lol... I know this all sounds irrelevant to your situation with the spirits.. and I'm sorry I kind of left the whole subject of your question in the fog... but I am seeing great spiritual potential and power in you and you can use this to see more spirits if you want, or even stop seeing them. Or you could be like me and pick what type of spirit to guide you in different situations.. and sometimes I can even call on a certain spirit like my grandmother or my friend's mother. I kind of talk to them like my diary when I have something to say. I am a veeeeeeery quiet person... meaning like I don't say much... but I'm not the least shy. I will respond with no fear lol and I am actually one of the most personally open people you will meet... but seeing I hold a lot of my feelings in... its very nice to spill out not only to paper in a diary, but someone who is listening!!

I have a friend who has this same problem but its really not a problem. Its really not a gift though either. Hm well my input is that you have spirits that are physically linked, aurally linked and spiritually linked to you which means you have a high energy level, which is not a bad thing. I don't think your mom is going to put in an asylum but I also think you should wait as well and see if this develops into anything. Do you have a pendulum? If not go buy one they usually run about 15 dollars but I have found them for less and ask it questions that have a yes or no answer. Ask if your mom will put you in an asylum. It's a start. Also I think you should look things like this up. Go to a bookstore, Borders is one I recommend and go to the religion section and look for books on spirituality. That's pretty interesting about your experiences. It does sound like you have a gift. If I were you I wouldn't tell your parents, or a psychologist. They will think your having hallucinations and most likely put you in a psych ward or have you start going to a psychiatrist or something of that sort. I do believe in things like this, I believe they can happen, but many people are not open to the idea of your being able to talk to spirits. I would keep it to yourself unless you have a close friend you can tell. In the mean time, I would look on the internet for true stories about this type of incidents and also look for online forums and communities about people with such gifts as yourself. This way you can talk to people that are similar to you, and your not so alienated. If your parents or anyone sees the website your visiting, just say its something that sparked your interest. No you are not crazy. From what I have read and watch from professionals on TV as you might there are spirits that are trying to crossover. There are other spirits/demons that can be harmful.

What I do because I cannot see any spirits. I can only sense them. I can give you many examples for the last 5 years. I cannot control this ability. What I do sometimes when I sense someone I never ask the question out loud. Asking out loud is not wrong. Try to listen inside a voice that might seem to be your own thoughts, but they are not. Because you know how you think. That is the spirit talking to you. That boo girl has some good thoughts to share. Is she psychic I have no idea.
I found this website a week ago on home repair work( honey-do[ which you will learn when you are older]).

Anyway when it happens, when a spirit is trying to pass information through me. I have. really really uncontrollable urge to cry. I am not sad. I think it is their energy going through. I even cried in front of a patient ( I am a nurse ) and she shared with me of having a visual experiences at bedtime of her belated grandmother talking to her at the foot of her bed. This parent also said that this gift runs on her mom side of the family.

I think you should assess who is in your house and try to open up yourself spiritually the way you would. I do not mean pray. How ever you connect with the world around you. Meditate if you like. That can be writing, painting, or whatever relaxes you into another state of calmness.

If your Parents who love you and trust you will try to support. If you do not sense that than wait for the right time. Especially you can share something with them that they as an individual would only know. I have done that, freaked the person out but made them realize that someone is aware of their daily living.

She has had it hard to being called and witch, etc. and bullied and now she is perfectly fine with her gift at the age of 17.
