What are the websites that people are using to making money. I guess, one way they do it by advertising their business, etc.

Money is made from web sites in one of three ways:

1) Sell a product or service
2) Sell advertising on the site
3) Participate in a link exchange where you get paid when someone clicks on a link to an ad.

This is probably one of the biggest niche markets -- making money online OPM (other people's money)
