Hi.

Every time my computer is booted up I get a Runtime Error.

Error:
Program: C:\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe
this application has requested the runtime to terminate in a unusual way.

After the error has closed another error is:

Spooler SubSystem App has stopped working.

I have Vista x 32 bit. Can someone help me fix this error? Thank you.

Did this just start happening? Have you installed anything recently?

Check this link for some info, it helped some people

A couple weeks ago. And no I haven't recently installed anything. I checked out the link and followed the directions, and it still continues with the error. I also have another problem. My computer restarts by itself, it shows a blue screen but I cannot read everything before it closes and boots up. Something about checking to see if a hardware or software being installed properly. Can anyone help?

does it restart at random? Do you have any software that automatically checks for updates? Check you startup apps to see what is starting with your computer.
start, run and type msconfig and go to startup tab, is there anything there that seems like it should not be there?

with both problems, it seems it might be related to your printer in some way.
Any printer changes recently? If not, you can try to address the spool issue

If this were happening to me, I would go to control panel, then printer and faxes and delete the default printer, if you have more than the default printer as a printer and it asks you if you would like to make another printer as the new default, say NO

start, run type services.msc, OK
go down the list and click on print spooler and on the left, click stop service
close everything and restart computer
On restart, it should detect printer and when it ask to install from a specific location, say no
let windows automatically install drivers for the printer

once you get back into windows, check your printers to see if the default printer is back

Should SsAAD.exe be in the start up tab?

When I restarted after stopping printer spooler, the printer was still there.
