I nominate George McGovern , If he were running for President today he would not stand a chance at getting the nomination from the nanny-state Party.

Hello tom:

Milton Friedman. I'm not sure what your point is about McGovern. Nanny staters??

If you want to talk about a particular policy, let's go. But, if your point is that the Dems are going to bankrupt us, you'll please excuse me when I spit my coffee all over my screen from laughing so hard...

Your dude, the dufus in chief has bankrupted us beyond even your wildest imagination. We're now just seeing the tip of the iceburg in terms of the damage the dufus did to our economy.

I don't know about his position on free-trade but: McGovern was a leading opponent of the war in Vietnam. He also opposed the Iraq war and has said the United States' presence in the country has increased the threat of terrorism. He also endorsed Ms. Clinton for President and said: “I think that if we can elect her president, she'll be a greater president even than her brilliant husband."

Excon as you know I was a critic of the Republican spending practices while they were the majority so we can move on. Do you think that the essay linked agrees with the positions of the remaining Democrat candidates ?

If you want to talk policy then explain how either Democrat's positions squares with your own professed philosophies of limited government .

DC from the WSJ article it is clear that he disagrees with Hillary on issues like Healthcare . She would not offer any choice but to buy into her single -payer plan.
