I attempted to changed my old honeywell t841a heat pump thermostat with a ritetemp programmable termostat that I purchased. Needless to say, it didn't work and I'm trying to get my old honeywell thermostat reinstalled and wired correctly. I labeled all the wires and it appears I have everything connected correctly now but I can't seem to get it to work? Any suggestions?

Here is what I have labeled and connected:

Yelllow - Y
Blue - X
White - W2
Red - R
Orange - O
Green - G
Brown - connected to W2 and E

What am I missing??
Thanks for any help anyone can pass along.

Did you shut the power off before changing stats? If not you may have blown a fuse on the circuit board or the transformer. Check to see if you have 24 volts at the stat.
