... yeah I would imagine it would hurt like a b!tch if you recently had temps on ALL of your teeth.

With perm, you'll have some soreness at the beginning but it will go away eventually.

Your bite is probably off with all those temps and you are probably clenching or grinding at night with all this foreign material on your teeth.

Once the permanent crowns are place you will probably need a lot of adjusting to get your bite right. Be prepared for a few visits back to your dentist for bite adjustments.

I hope you've invested in a good electric toothbrush to protect your investment!

I went in today for a root canal and he did adjust the temporary crowns,it helped a lot. I am still having some pain, but I was able to eat with out pain. He also ordered a muscle relaxer to take at night to help with me clenching my jaw. Thanks for the advice.

Also the root canal was an upper tooth not on the lower teeth

I went to see my doctor today because I had been having the lower jaw pain and then pain near my ears. I have a chronic sinus infection, very bad they said. So I guess my jaw pain was the sinuses not temp. crowns. Which feel OK now. I get permanent ones on in 7 days. Can't wait to see the new me.
