Hi! I am 8 days late. I expected to have my period on d 25thof feb and I'm worried. I took the test and it came back negative. I don't have a problem being pregnant but I'm worried that I could have some other complications. What are the possible complications that I could have?

I don't know about complications, but just to let you know... I just found out I was pregnant on Friday. I had taken 3 negative home pregnancy tests, and on day 11 of no period I got a faint posotive. I called my doctor and went in for a blood test and it confirmed my pregnancy. It may be to early to detect. The pregnancy test that worked for me was First response. Good luck!

Sometimes we just miss a period for no appearant reason. You could be pregnant, though. It can take some women several weeks or more to confirm pregnancy on a hpt. Best advice is to wait another week and take a test. If negative wait until your next period is due. If you miss that one call the doc and get a blood test done. I missed a period while trying to conceive for no reason at all. I had to be placed on meds to start it back up. If you don't want to wait that long to find out, go to the doctor for a blood test.

Interesting! I am ALSO 8 days late and tested on the weekend but got a NEGATIVE result... I am going to re-test in another week when I will be 2 weeks late (if I haven't gotten my period by then... ) I'm hoping it's a positive by then and nothing else :)
