I have a blanco model 157-013-CR kitchen faucet with spray attachment. When I open faucet, water comes out as a trickle (both hot and cold). Side spray pressure is normal. Fairly handy, what is best way to troubleshoot without calling a plumber

Hi ekatz... I have something for you. See website below.
It is the specification sheet for your particular model faucet.
http://www.blancoamerica.com/SPECIFICATIONS/157013.pdf
You need to shut off the water to your faucet and disassemble according to the specification sheet... instructions are very clear. Should just have to remove the handle and back off a nut or two to access the cartridge assembly... that is where the issue is.
Once cartridge is removed, clean of any debris... then cover faucet with rag
And have friend PULSE the hot and cold water to purge of any remaining debris in pipes (be careful.. hot water! )... then replace the cartridge. That should do it for you.
If it dies not you may need to replace the cartridge... that site should also have a number to call for the part. Let me know how you make out.. OK?
BUT CHECK THE AERATOR FIRST (at end of spout...twists offclockwise)...remove, clean, re-install...THAT MAY FIX in and of itself!!
