Hello everyone

I recently posted about not getting my period after my miscarriage. It will be six weeks on Monday and still I have nothing. I thought I might be pregnant again since I feel like I am, so I went and took an at home test. It was negative. Would this pregnancy test be accurate, or could I be early pregnant? Honestly I don't think my body is ready yet for another pregnancy so I am hoping I am not as I do not want to experience another miscarriage. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Your period mite not of arrived because of the stress you've been through,it happens a lot when awoman gets stressed the periods can be late myfriend has been under a lot of stress since before xmas and she's still not got hers and she been the doctors several times for tests to make sure and she not pregnant its just stress but go to the doctors to get checked

First, no way to perfectly diagnose over the internet.

Talked to a friend who is a doctor about this once and he said its common for it to take 3-8 weeks for regular periods to resume... but generally I think there's no perfect "normal" concerning a woman and her period, especially after a pregnancy. The stress from the event alone can cause your body to secrete cortisol, which can cause irregular periods.

If you have a history of irregular periods, it can be from an imbalance of hormones from the ovaries, hypothalamus and pituitary glands. Do you have a preceding history of irregular periods?

My advice is to use birth control as long as you think your body isn't ready. In the meantime, is a waiting period... when in doubt, please talk to your doctor.
