Like many of us, I have been fighting melasma for two years. I have it on my cheeks and chin. I have had 11 light laser treatments that have improved the melasma and the dr. just gave me tri-luma. Anyone have any thought on this?
Also- for anyone just starting to deal with melasma - all over the counter products are a joke and waste of money. I have tried all of them so don't bother spending your money on them - go see your dermatologist. :)
You have to fix the problem before you can enter the maintenance stage of vitamin a, c, microdermabrasion and peels. They don't solve it but I am confident they assist in cell turnover and maintaining results. YOU MUST ALSO NEVER GO IN THE SUN AGAIN - NEVER NT EVEN TO THE MAILBOX!
