How are the central beliefs of Islam reflected on the five pillars of Islam? I have read about the day of judgement; some one who have lived a life of good merit will go to heaven and those who have not will go to hell. Their merits are put on a scale.

The five pillars of islam are the basis/essentials of islam...
1. to believe in the first kalimah.
2.salah- praying 5 times a day.
3.fasting in the month of ramadan.
4.zakat
5.hajj-pilgrimmage
