Hiya, I used to watch over and over again when I was young a film about a cat who was always getting into trouble. The cat had no tail. You never saw his owner, you only heard her voice. One day his owner locks him in a room in the house and the cat knocks over the iron and the house sets alight. Another time there is a birthday party and the owner places a huge cake in the kitchen and the cat jumps on the cake and puts cake paw prints all around the kitchen. The owner then throws the cat out and he has to fend for himself but isn't accepted by any of the alley cats because he has no tail.

PLEASE PLEASE help me. Its doing my head in. It was around the time Tubby the Tuba and Dot and the Kangaroo were on TV.

Hm, that sound like a Swedish children's movie called "Pelle Svanslös".
Is the cat black and a little bit white? An is there a white cat that he falls in love whit and a red cat with two friends who are twins?
