Hello Everybody,
Very recenly i have faced a problem in winxp. Recently I purchase a duelcore mechine. The configuration of the mechine is;

Processor:- AMD 4000 (2.11 GHz) DC
Motherboard:- M2N-VM HDMI
Ram:- 2GB DDR2 667 FSB From Kingstone & Transend
HDD:- 160 GB Samsung SATA
Rom:- HP DVDRW

Now the problem is, at the time of loading of winxp, it takes a long time. It is unnatural. I can't expect that this type of configuration may take such a long time for loading of windows. Where as my brother's mechine load winxp in maximum 10-15sec. His config is normal.

P4 2Ghz
512 MB DDR1
80 GB PATA HDD
Gigabyte 845 Board
:( :( :( :( :(
How is it possible. What I have to do to recover this problem???

Please reply anybody as soon as possible.

Sankha.

Could the computer have a virus or adware? What is it loading at start up? How old is it?

There is No adware or virus or spyware in this computer. I am sure about this subject. Whenever I installed xp, it become slow.:( After Installing xp & mobo drivers & necessery softwares, it run slowly. When I working on a software or game I can't feel that my computer is running slowly.

I also check near about 3-4 computers with the following configuration which run faster than me;

AMD 4000
MSI K9N6GM
1GB RAM D2
160 GB Sata HD

All of these computers owned by my friends.
First I think that there may be some problem with my motherboard. So I update the BIOS. But nothing changed. Then I Exchange my motherboard and now I use this one. First time I use ASUS M2N-MX SE.

So what is the problem then??

One more thing that my recent motherboard is more powerful than the MSI K9N6GM. You may take information from Internet & also compare this.
