Hello people you came here because you thought I was going to tell you how to hack Runescape, but sadly you are wrong. I am here to explain, know, learn why you people want to hack a game. Why do you? Unfair advantage? Revenge? Want to be rank 1? Why? Hackers have a lifetime of guilt. They just want to be the superior ones here. But they don't know they are the lowest kind of player in Runescape. Why? Simple. Us, the ones that don't use hacks, are the superior ones because, we raised our levels competing against others and doing what we want to do. You may say that I'm some kind of RS mod or something, but I'm not. I'm a regular RS player. I raise my levels when I want to. I may get jealous sometimes about other people having like dragon weps or armor, but I keep myself cool by just thinking into the future. I picture myself one day having that. It may come true it may not, but I will not give up because of just a simple DIGITAL, ONLINE, NOT REAL, GAME!! You hackers can do what you want, but I say one day you will get caught. One day hackers... one day... You can't trick us with the "LOOK JAGEX MADE IT SO YOU CAN"T SEE YOUR PASSWORD SEE!! ****************". Not even with the "SEND ME YOUR USERNAME AND PASS AND A LIST OF ITEMS YOU WANT TO (I'[email protected]) AND I WILL GET THEM FOR YOU." Try something that will work. Why do you need hacks? Again another question left unanswered.

Things like this:

Me and my bro (or cousin) have been working on a hack for "insert number" months. (Note: If you were in college, there are no hacking courses, NONE AT ALL, so don't even think about believeing this). This hack can: duplicate items, hack other people, make money, and edit stats. All you have to do is send an e-mail to "insert whatever"@"whatever web-site".com. Type you username as the subject. Then, in the body, type your username, your password, your victims username if you want someone hacked, items you want, money you want, and stats edited. That's all you have to do.

Errors:

1. There is no such thing as "stat editers".
2. You can only dupe items in Runescape Classic.
3. If you only need a victims username to hack, why do you need our password?
4. Hacking can land you in jail for I don't know how long. Why take the risk of losing the enjoyment of life if you get caught?

I'll try to find more "hacks" later to put them to rest.

There is this usual scamm that isn't that of a scamm. I've been reported for doing this when I'm not even scamming. The "scamm" is GEM CUTTING. I try to gem cut for people, but some just think it is a scamm. I only do it for the exp. I want to get it to lvl 40 too.

Hey as I was looking I found this:

Gamers: Do not give out your username and password - or enter it on a webpage other than your gaming site - for any reason.

Scams involving use of others username and password abound. Protect that information as you do your credit card and checking information.

Posters: Feel free to share instructions for using tips and cheats that you've discovered, but do not invite folks to give their username & password. If you do, the post will be deleted and/or you will be banned.

AskMeHelpDesk is dedicated to being an excellent source of answers and information.

The only people that can actually get in the game and get ANYTHING are the creators os RS itself. They can do that, but it is against their power. They agree that in playing fair, you WILL and CAN acomplich anything. You won't even need a dumb millios guide. You won't need help. Just play fair. Like they say "If you can't play by the rules, then don't play at all.". End of story.

More tips:

1. Do not accept armor trimming. To me it is a scam no matter what.
2. Do not accept gem cutting offers unless you test them first by giving them an uncut sapphire and see what they do.
3. If you want to get rid of uncuts but get more value, say "trading uncuts for cuts" because some people that want to lvl up crafting will trade cuts for uncuts. Or just wait for a person to say "trading cuts for uncuts".

4. If someone says they have a login key that has everyone's password, don't fall for it. If they really have a login key, you pay them RS cash, you change the pass, but they change the pass to something u don't know because they got the login key~~~~! ~_~

Yup! I totally agree. In my opinion if you hack even if you're Zezima then you're a noob. I don't know why strong people try to hack anyway? They got like rune, drag & mills & bills!! We're just the good players who might not have drag, but at least we play fair. Noobs are more understanding they're weak and want stuff, but all those experienced players!! How would they feel if they got hacked. Always remember scamming is for noobs!!

(Tip from the scamhater: If someone tries the "Look Jagex blocks your pass" thing just report em' because it's their own fault!)

There's another one!!

It's about a scammer who says that for them to hack for you, you need to have a level 40 account or stronger because "Jagex keeps a timer on your account and if you had a level 3 account and all of a sudden you had 99 cooking".

Well, if you were at ANY level and all of a sudden you had 99 cooking, Jagex would see it anyway so that "timer" of yours is basically... nothing.

I know some hackers,they take it like the hacking itself is an aspect of the game, like if they've been hacked is the equivalent to having lost an arm wrestling match "Oh yeah, now I've got that bastard!" it's all fun and games... that is till someone loses a processor (lame attempt at comp. humor)

I think that even if you get hacked, it's okay because it's just a game, although maybe hundreds of hours of work goes down the drain. Just start a new one and you can still play. It's not the end of the world if you get hacked.

Yay! Started new account. While training, I met my old account. Not literally just saw him online. He called me an egghead and said I made him mad while I threw a few tamtrums at home and school. However, when he found out that I knew a lot of things I suppose I wasn't supposed to know, I guess he got pretty annoyed. Some PC freak. He said hacking me is the joy of his life. Yeah, me too. Hi, I'm new here; I saw it on Google and stuff. I saw this and agree... I had a level 10 acc on rs classic and some guy (greg### something) said I could dupe items if I changed my pass to moneymaker. I was suspicious, but then I was a noob and newb. I eneded up getting my acc hacked, but then something weird... my pass went back to what it was! Maybe I answered my recov questions... I don't know. Now I have a lvl 64 acc with rune and addy ( I got hacked once took my armor and stuff), pretty good combat stats and I got some money. I'm not that good a playa, but still... I try to report scammers all the time, and I think jagex actually hears my suggestions... lol I talked a while ago about the milking cows and stuff and they updated it!. just to show that scammers really are a waste of time (and desperate; a lvl 10 acc?? ) and have no sense of play and usually, no life.

P.S.:i never knew this: how do people get trimmed armor? I know a player can't trim it, but where do you buy it? Is just a limited # of them?

In answer to your question, if your talking about the thing below the solid line, that is your signiture, I believe? Yes it's the signiture. You can edit it by going to "My Profile" > "Edit Signiture". Then, type what you want others to see.

Ummmmm, what works? Oh yes, always set recovery questions as soon as you start an account. That way you can partially garuntee you can get your account back if you forget your password, get hacked, get scammed, etc. Make them easy to remember. Remember what order they are in, too.

Well think of something to easy, like the order of the eldest to youngest in you family could be the answers.

Actually one way to trim an armor is to do a special quest. Then you take your armor and like melt the gold or whatever with a special furnace

Umm... of course. Who didn't know that? Besides hacking someone's account is simple (im not going to tell you how), ill tell you how to prevent it.
I haven't done it I heard it from a friend and basically it's a smart but unjust idea.
Okay so I'm in 9nth grade and I have a friend in the 7nth grade.
I give my account to him, a few weeks later I take it back with recovery questions. And voilà! Your stats got higher! If someone gives you an account. Check the recovery questions or you might be wasting your time for other people!

You're not the only one dude... I hate people that do that, and wats worse! U can't report them. U got flat out tricked.

I think they should make a Runescape official branch site listing the most popular tricks scammers do. That way, more people would know how to protect themselves.

Oh yeah, and they should show it at runescape.com, so people know it's for real.

Hi I'm brandon my runescape user are Mrpengo and wextel1 I just got hacked and I had full mystic! Yellow! It sucks and I lost 12.8 mill so guy named "purplelight" told me to type a fake a pass so I did I typed yellowbead and from that he got my pass I don't know how but he did it was so weird and mean I want to get him back but not hacking so I reported I didn't get my stuff back but he lost his lvl 98 account :)

Theolnite here saying GET A PIN!! Simple as that! I've hacked before, and scamming isn't hacking, hacking is were you use a program to guess numerous passwords at lightning speed to get your password, scamming is were your a extreme idiot and you try to trick people, if your a scammer, GET A LIFE!!

Oh yeah don't download toolkits for this game that supposedly "work" :( all this does is allow hackers to install and run a keylogger onto your PC (they allow hackers to see what you type, so they can steal your passwords. I hope this can help clear a few things up!

I have been haked/scammed, and I found this while looking for how to hake runescape, then I read hpd4's first post and I had a change of heart, I will earn my money the real way, not the cheap way, thank you for beating the heack out of my ego.

By the way, if you meet some one asking "wanna team in the wildy?" there are 2 thing you do then..

1: if you are out side of wildy, then politly say no and walk away.

2a: if you are in wildy and the wild lv is less then your lv and his/her lv, say no and leave them.

2b: if the wild lv is the same or greater, say no and run to lv 20 and tele out of there fast...

Trimmed armor is given from clue scrolls given as a drop from monsters in members world the only way you can get them is to complete the clue scroll or buy it off somebody

I am a lvl 69 on runescape. I have played for about 8 months. This guy was advertising a site for runescape3 testing and if you went there you would enter your runescape name and password, and you could try out rs3. Well I was a lvl 52 Back when I did that and he hacked me and my friend cause we both tried it. When I tried to get on my guy it said invalid pass, so I answered my recovery questions and got it back. When I got in my friend told me this: "I like the stuff on your account it will come in handy" so then I knew it wasn't him because he called me and said he can't get on his guy anymore. So I just mind my own business with hackers now.

Another thing to be aware of is *friends*

Never give out anything to a friend who is asking to borrow or loan off you you won't get anything back it's a fact! :mad:.. They will find any possible way to make an excuse!


I have been scammed from a friend whom I trusted and got along with so well... I Lost 4mil in total of items.And believe me you would think they're some genuine and respectful person.I was stunned and shocked to hear that my friend had gotten hacked after I had asked her for my items back.I cursed at her so much I put her on my ignore list.And thought that was the end of seeing her since I believed that her account had gotten hacked.

I have been scammed from a friend whom i trusted and got along with so well....I Lost 4mil in total of items.And believe me you would think theyre some genuine and respectful person.I was stunned and shocked to hear that my friend had gotten hacked after i had asked her for my items back.I cursed at her so much i put her on my ignore list.And thought that was the end of seeing her since i believed that her account had gotten hacked.

Same with my bro. He trusted a member friend of his. Just so you know he was reaaaal rich. So the his friend (Runeviper) told him he would pay for his membership. My bro believed it and he gave him his pass and all... I think the estimated amount of money he lost was around 150k-340k... Well anyway don't trust anyone with your pass... even your mom :p .

hey i play runescape as a member and i have not been hacked but freinds have....being hacked isnt really like it seems it is mostly because you are being stupid and giveing out ur password or going to stupid websites.....

trimmed armor is given from clue scrolls given as a drop from monsters in members world the only way you can get them is to complete the clue scroll or buy it off of somebody


Yes it's true.
You can only get trimmed armor/dragon hide/skirts,robes from clue scrolls(members only). And again NO ONE can trim armor. Oh and if you have heard of the random event that is not listed in the random event list it is a lie. The random event is called "Prince of the Wilderness". It says go to the wildy with 20k and find him etc.. It was used by a scamming group of friends that wanted you to go to the location where there were greater demons. It said you had to bury the burnt bones:p and then he would come out. Its not true anyway, just so you know.:D

Hi, im new here; i saw it on google and stuff. i saw this and agree... i had a level 10 acc on rs classic and some guy (greg### something) said i could dupe items if i changed my pass to moneymaker. i was suspicious, but then i was a noob and newb. i eneded up getting my acc hacked, but then something weird... my pass went back to what it was! maybe i answered my recov questions... i dunno. now i have a lvl 64 acc with rune and addy ( i got hacked once took my armor and stuff), pretty good combat stats and i got some money. im not that good a playa, but still... i try to report scammers all the time, and i think jagex actually hears my suggestions... lol i talked a while ago about the milking cows and stuff and they updated it! .... just to show that scammers really are a waste of time (and desperate; a lvl 10 acc?!?!?!) and have no sense of play and usually, no life.

P.S.:i never knew this: how do ppl get trimmed armor? i know a player can't trim it, but where do u buy it? is just a limited # of them?
Trimed armors are for members but you can buy them off members for 1mil or so (depends on what kind) and you still can ware them. Member's get them from tresure trails lv 3 (really hard) so yeah... Hope I helped.

I hate scammers, I remember when I fell for the old, fally mole hole scam, I had just finished this quest and was feeling pretty pleased with myself then along came sum noob an asked for help. I try to help people as much as I can in the game so I said I would help, he told me he would give me 100k for helping him. This may sound very dodgy but the temptation, greed and wounderful offer before me never made me think twice. He gave me a tiderbox, a spade and a candle,he told me to lite the candle the follow him down into mole hole, then he gave me 50k for my tinderbox and then said he would give me another 50k for the candle, the candle but I had 2 extinguish it to trade, as soon as it had gone out, you get attcked by these creatures and eventually die, I think I lost rune boots, ring of wealth, dragon long, obby cape, rune kite and rune helm. I was extreamly angerd and "walled" my PC, I did not report the people either. HOWEVER, I got my vengeance, just a few months later, I got bak my armour etc, and was in fally 1nce agen, back to see some farmiliar faces, I offerd to help them again, sneakily taking tele runes with me, like before I did what they tod me and as soon as I trade my tinderbox for 50k I quickly teled out, and then reported them for scamming, I felt very forfilled and it made me smile, although I had lost a lot, in the end I felt it was worth it, I guess revenge really is a dish best served cold. Hahahahahaha

I think your right but some times people want to hack because there poor or have nothing good.I think that hackin is wrong but you can't say they fell guilty? Can u? Maybe they like hacking, they may get caught but if they don't they a lot of good items:D

The answer to this question is an easy one, we hack because we like to solve problems, we know that every problem has an answer, therefor runescape CAN be hacked, ANY site or game can be hacked, do I hack runescape? no.. I have more important things to do... scamming is retarted... why scam when you can just take without the risk? Guys, there are good and bad hackers out there... I mean, the government wages wars, and are killing innocent people over in iraq right now, but all hackers do is seek knowledge, now who's the real criminals? Hacking is a good way to learn... I don't advise you do it for the wrong reasons... but if you do that's totally your business... hacking runescape would be easy... all you would need was a Unix computer, and either Visual Basic, or maybe even a free C++ language system like Dev C++, so don't think that your account is safe, because if a real hacker, like me, decided that they wanted to steal accounts, there would be hundreds of accounts being snatched weekly...

"insert username": selling rune "insert type of wepon or armor"
Sending trade offer...

Now in the middle, all you have to do is just take a close look at the second trade screen. If the person took a while, chances are that the thing u'll be getting is a IRON thing. Really happens.

Hello people you came here because you thought I was going to tell you how to hack Runescape, but sadly you are wrong. I am here to explain, know, learn why you people want to hack a game. Why do you? Unfair advantage? Revenge? Wanna be rank 1? Why? Hackers have a lifetime of guilt. They just want to be the superior ones here. But they don't know they are the lowest kind of player in Runescape. Why? Simple. Us, the ones that don't use hacks, are the superior ones because, we raised our levels competing against others and doing what we want to do. You may say that I'm some kind of RS mod or something, but I'm not. I'm a regular RS player. I raise my levels when I want to. I may get jealous sometimes about other people having like dragon weps or armor, but I keep myself cool by just thinking into the future. I picture myself one day having that. It may come true it may not, but I will not give up because of just a simple DIGITAL, ONLINE, NOT REAL, GAME!!!!! You hackers can do what you want, but I say one day you will get caught. One day hackers... one day... You can't trick us with the "LOOK JAGEX MADE IT SO YOU CAN"T SEE YOUR PASSWORD SEE!!! ****************". Not even with the "SEND ME YOUR USERNAME AND PASS AND A LIST OF ITEMS YOU WANT TO (I'[email protected]) AND I WILL GET THEM FOR YOU." Try something that will work. Why do you need hacks? The reason most people want to hack is to get though the game easier but I was hack and it took me about I year to work to get everything a had and just one selfish person took it all away and I know who it was so I decided and would hack him so he could see what it feels like but then I thought he would just hack more people and take there stuff but yes it was purely revenge and spite if you can understand I accutally stopped playing cause I thought I did all of it for nothing.
