I have a 98 Honda Accord that starts at times then won't start for a few days. I have a flashing maintenance light for about 5 seconds after the failed start and a flashing green key for about 2 seconds after a failed start. I smell gas so I don't think it is a fuel pump/filter issue. Any ideas?

Odds are 90%+ that the problem is electrical-related, not fuel. Begin by checking for codes.
