My mom has a will written in 1987. It splits all of her assets between my sister and I. She has been bilked for 200,000 by two con people and now my sister says that our mom is going to sell her the house (major asset) for 200,000 (it is worth over 700,000) and they told me that they are so sorry that I will not receive anything. My sister was supposed to be keeping an eye on our mom since I work many hours and my sister works part time. My mother is feeble and on many pain pills.
This doesn't seem right to me, do I have any recourse?

If you are sure they are con people and doing something illegal then act on it right now and don't want. The elderly get bilked out of monies all the time and its up to you and your sister to help your mom through this as no one else will. If fraud or even an attempt to do so has taken place get your police involved right now.

It seems your sister is trying to cheat your mom out of more than the con men did, You sister could loan your mom 200,000, co sign a loan for you mom if she needs the 200,000. That way when your mom passes your sister gets her 200,000 back and you both then split the balance.

Contact an attorney immediately before this gets out of hand or your mother dies and then all is lost literally. It's easier to undo something now while she is still alive than to try and do something later and find it impossible to undo. If you can prove that mom is incompetent then things will change in your favor.
