Hi, I am little bit confused about which form I should use for filing for my tax refunds. I am a citizen of the Czech republic and have worked in the US for 3 months in 2007 (Work&Travel program) under J-1 visa.

I tried using TurboTax online service, which was really simple, but I ended up with 1040EZ form.
Then I found out, that non-residents should use 1040NR-EZ form. The biggest difference between those two is the amount of exemption deduction - 8,750 for 1040EZ and just 3,400 for 1040NR-EZ. If I would use the 1040EZ, I would have all my money I paid on taxes back, which is not the case with 1040NR-EZ.

So, do I have to use 1040NR-EZ?
I would appreciate any help with this.

You MUST file Form 1040NR-EZ.

However, the nature of your work MAY allow you to be totally exempt from taxes.

For WHOM did you work?
