So where to start, I’m 17 but spare me the teen love crap I’ve heard it before and it’s not really the issue. As of five weeks ago I was introduced to a girl who for whatever reason I completely clicked with more than I ever have with anyone. Within two days we were great friends and completely trusted each other. I realised I liked her a lot and not just as a friend but she’s got a boyfriend 4 years older than her (she’s 18) that she’s been seeing for three years. =<
Well I decided to tell her how I felt anyway just cause she was such a good friend. For the record I’m usually a quite shy and introverted person and wouldn’t dream of being the tw*t that breaks up a relationship. Thing is she said she likes me too but we can’t go out cause she’s got a BF. She asked me what to do and I suggested she asked her BF how he felt about there relationship and act on that. She did and he said he didn’t envision losing her anytime soon. Hmm that’s what I get for being a good person ah well.
We started texting a lot and arranged to meet alone she said about how much she wanted to kiss me and I said I thought it was probably a bad idea and we still had a great time.
I saw her again at school and immediately regretted having not kissed, I tried moving on but when that didn’t work decided to leave my morals behind and tell her I regretted not kissing her. As a group of friends we all went out and at one point we were left alone and spontaneously kissed. All well and good we decide to make a regular thing of it but before we get chance down comes the bombshell. Turns out my best friend has liked her for years and now thinks he loves her he’s never told me this but he told her when I said I liked her. She doesn’t like him that way but things feel awkward between me and my friend now. As a finishing “problem” she’s decided not to break up with her BF for now basically cause she needs an adult for support as her family all but rejected her.
Nobody tell me plenty more fish in the sea cause I've cast my nets wide an only had a few bites and none as amazing as this one.
Any advice appreciated sorry it’s a small novel couldn’t find anything irrelevant.
Cheers wiv warm fuzzy beach love from California.
