My 9 year old daughter just came down with red bumps all over her torso, a mild fever, and headache. We just returned from renting a cabin in Pigeon Forge TN where she was in the hot tub. The hot tub didn't seem that clean to me. A day later she broke out in these bumps. How do I tell if it is chicken pox or the rash caused by not using enough chlorine in the hot tub?

Most likely it is chicken pox. Chicken pox starts around the torso then spreads to the extremities.

Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE HER ASPIRIN for pain or fever.

As you may or may not know, chicken pox is a virus and must run it's course. You can only treat the symptoms. Benadryl for itching, oatmeal baths, Aaveno lotion... calamine lotion will work for the itching too.
