I have a phillis magnavox 32in Smart Plus tube TV that suddenly has no sound...
It is connected to a dvr and a dvd player. Both are properly connected by video and stereo cables...
There is ablolutely no sound even at the highest level, regardless of the input source...
It is not muted, I've tried everything external I can think of and haven't tried anything internal (scared)... any help would be appreciated.

If you can open the menu, and probably find the section for "set up", there are options to switch to an external speaker source such as a surround sound system or stereo. Perhaps by accident, this has been changed to external instead of internal?

That is the only thing I can suggest!
