Hi...

I live in the city of Toronto, province of Ontario in Canada.
I am a common-law spouse to my current wife.
She owns the house that we live in and I pay her monthly room & board to defray living costs.
She has given me 30 days notice to leave her house.
Is this legal in view of Ontario provincial laws?
Do I have any rights in this situation to tell her that she cannot "legally" evict me from her home?
Appreciate any legal advice you can provide me.

Thanks,

Yvon Pierre

I have been living with a man for 1 year who hasn't provided money into the home.
We have purchased a home together and he has signed over the rights to this home to me. After 1 year he wants the home back!
