I worked under an OPT for about 2 1/2 months during 06/01/07-08/15/07, as a contractor doing IT work.

I received a 1099-MISC form from my employer.
For Nonemployee compensation : $4715.45
I am also a citizen of South Korea. I believe we have a tax treaty with the U.S for $2000 correct?
This makes my earning to $2715.45

Therefore my question is:
1. Do I need to file a 1040NR with schedule C?
2. Is there any more deduction I can take out?
3. Is there any other forms I need to fill out if I need to file for tax?

Thank you,
Won

On F1/OPT you are nonresident. You must file 2007 tax return if your income is $3,400 or more. You will get exemption of $3,400 and deduction of $2,000 as per tax treaty.
So you don't have taxable income. You must also file form 8843.
