I found a light blue oval shape pill in my car that my son may have lost and want to find out what it is. On the pill it has the letters and number of G17 what is it.

I can understand why you want to know, but I suggest taking it to a pharmacy for ID.

A search brings up "Naproxen Sodium Caplet 220 Mg". But I would take it somewhere just to make sure.

It could be Aleve. Aleve tablets are blue and oval.

I agree. It would be better to take it to a pharmacist who could see it in person and visit with you about it, rather relying on the opinions of people who have not seen it and who you don't know.
