Does anyone know a website I can go to that will allow me to check for any money owed on a vehicle that won't charge me a fee?

I don't know any website that does that FOR a fee.

There is a good way to tell if money is owed on a car, though. If the guy selling it has the title, then you can pretty well assure yourself that he doesn't owe any money on it.

I do not believe Carfax will give you this information.

The car is at a repair shop the car is abandon no one can reach the owner so the repair shop is selling the car they are willing to give me a bill of sell but I would like to know if anything is owed before I get in to buying it where can I find out if money is owed on the car for free
