I have an 89 dodge dakota, I changed the plugs, rotor and cap, new fuel filter. It has spark but won't start, there is gas in the fuel filter, I can here a click when I turn the key on it sounds like the fuel pump is on, but it don't seem to get any fuel, I cheked all the fuses inside the truck. What else could be the reason for it not getting fuel? And it not to start?

I think it is still Fuel OR Spark, not spark at the wron time or compression.
I would Spray Small amount of Starting Fluid in snorkel, briefly, If it runs briefly, it is a fuel problem, If you hear fuel pump, then "inertia switch" not a likely culprit.
Changing Fuel filter NEVER hurts, It may Expose Water/Contamination.

Well if the fuel filter is getting fuel into it, then the fuel pump is operating. However, the pump may not being working to the extent it needs to be operating. I think stratmando could be correct about the contamination.
