I have a HP Pavilion 8660c 533MHz P III running win2kpro. I am having a problem with it consistently freezing on me at any given time. There are no specific time or program that causes this but I do know that if I go to msn.com, it seems to freeze more quickly. Is there anything I can do to stop this? I have
1. flashed my BIOS
2. gotten ms regclean4.01a and used it
3. reinstalled OS several times. 2x by reformatting the HD 1x NTSF

please if there is anyone out there that knows how to correct this or knows someone who does, please let me know. Forward all answers to [email protected] please.

From what you have described it sounds like a hardware issue.
Hopefully it just something simple like overheating or a bad power supply.
