You have to get an application of Termaination of parental rights from the courts. I found an application online since I'm from Florida I went to myflorida.com the application # is PC-600 I found the link off an answer from someone else's question. You just have to do research.

I would as why you want to give away your rights, you don't use them anyway, giving away your rights does not stop child support you still have to pay that anyway. Also normaly the courts don't allow you to give them up.
Why don't you see your son, that is what you should be fighting for,

It's a good idea to browse around a site like this before posting. Had you done so, you would have found many threads addressing this issue and/or the note linked to above. These would have answered your question.

I may be reading the site wrong but that entire section refers to termination of parental rights WHEN AND ONLY when an adoption is involved. If I am mistaken, please correct me.
You cannot simply "surrender" your children in Florida - like every other State.

Hello l:
Re: Your rights
When I saw your caption, I was thrilled to open up your question. Cool, I thought, here's someone who wants to fight for their rights. I'm going to help 'em see their kids and be a part of their kids life. I LOVE doing that... Kids NEED their parents. It's not about what the parent wants, so I help all those parents who hold their children's welfare above their own.
But, then I come to find out you're just another run away deadbeat parent. Nahhh. I'm not going to help you abandon your kids... Nope. Not in this lifetime.

Unless the mother is in agreement, and she has a spouse that is going to adopt the child in your place, you can't relinquish your rights.

Well said! Why are so many "parents" not willing to fight for their rights as a parent? My's BF's ex kept his daughter from him for a few years. It never crossed his mind to give up his rights. When he was in a position to do so, he got a lawyer and fought and fought. His ex put up quite a fight but now my BF gets to see his daughter.
Why don't you fight for your child?
