Over the past week of so, my three year old has said "My penis is moving". I told him that that is OK and to go about what he was doing. Today my son informed me that he wet his underpants - which is not normal for him (he is potty trained). He went into the potty to relieve himself and I followed shortly after. I noticed white chalky discharge in his underpants and around his penis, there was also a small amount of mucus like substance in the toilet. My questions are - is this normal for a toddler? Could this be semen or a sign of infection? Is his "penis moving" related to the discharge? Any insight would be great!

As a mother of 2 boys I don't think my children ever had this happen. It seems like something may be bothering him. To be on the safe side ,I think I would call his doctor. It may be some type of infection.

Or, has someone touched his genitals inappropriately? Go to your physician.

Thank you both for you input. I have talked to his doctor and he said that it is not uncommon for toddlers to discharge ejaculate. It was not a physical response but a biological one. He also said that as long as my son is not burning, itching, swollen and or red - I should not be concerned. And I an positive that no one is touching him in the wrong way. Thanks Again.
