My husband and I would like to install laminate flooring in our upstairs hallwall. We have done 3 of our other rooms, but do not know how to install in under or around the bannisters that overlook our stairway. Please help!

When installing Laminate flooring around pickets or hand rails of stairways etcetera, The Flooring Laminate manufacturers make special moldings called "reducer strips" that are used to give the floor a finished look in areas where you can not hide the edge of the floor. Call your flooring dealer and ask about matching moldings made to match the floor that you buy.

When in dought always ask a professional.
