I keep checking the court docket to check on a complaint that was filed 10/30/07 by Asset Acceptance and this is what I keep seeing (below), nothing has changed since 12/06/07 and want to know if they have a certain amount of time to get a 2nd summons since they never served me with the first one of which the pre-trial was suppose to be 12/06/07. What does this mean and why are they waiting? I'm in the state of Florida. Thanks.

Hello casey:

The wheels of justice move slow. You might not get a second summons. Just keep in touch with the court and you'll find out when the next court date is.

You might want to make an attempt to settle the debt, because if they win in court, you'll owe about twice as much.
