I'm planning on getting engaged and I want to know what finger do I put the ring on when I ask her to marry me?:confused:

Look at about every other person you pass, see where they wear their wedding ring?? That's it.

And I guess the entire buying the ring before, but if you don't know what finger, how do you know what size to buy ?

And have you considered asking her first and then both of you picking a ring out together?

Yeah, Judy - left hand, finger next to the pinky. She'll know though so don't worry! And if you forget, look around - probably half the population of adults, men and women, wear wedding rings!

After the wedding, the wedding ring goes on first, then the engagement ring. I'm not sure why but am sure there's some reason for it.

So the wedding ring will be closer to the heart.
