I am a accountant for now. I have to tell my employee by November that I have a felony. I need to know what other position are out there for me. Would I need to go back to school or could I go back with a felony on my record? I live in Washington DC is there some place here that will help me find a job?

Hello cream:
If you're on probation, I can see your PO requiring you to tell your employer about your situation. But, what happens in November?
If you have a job now, but might lose it down the road, I would work like hell, and hope they'll keep you.
No, your felony won't keep you out of school. But, something is funny here.

The other half of this is posted on another thread - this was theft from an employer, the bonding company had to pay (as I recall). The situation was whether an employer can claim more than was actually stolen, what the employer could prove, what the final amount of restitution was - as I recall - ?
