Are there any forms or special deductions for fileing railroad taxes such as for lunch periods,insurances,work gear etc,

What sort of railroad income, money from a job, regular wages.
In such there are nomrlaly union dues, and special work gear.
As an employee, unless you have your insurances withheld form your pay under a 125 plan, they are not deductable from normal pay.

If you are a contract worker ( a 1099 worker) there are more dedcutions.

If you own a railroad, you would have additional type deductions.

I believe he speaks of the RR pension benefits, which supplant Social Security.
