My daughter's paternal grand-father is Hungarian and has a EU passport. Is there a way to obtain a EU passport for my 12year old South African daughter through her grandfather? He is also an American citizen, how would she obtain an American passport, as well... her uncle and maternal grandmother live in the States?

This depends upon the nationality of her mother and father - not the grandparents, sorry. She will have to get a passport accordingly.
