We need more info about why you can't access the files. What happens when you try?

When my hardrive crashed, we were able to recover most of the files, but some of the files would not open, and that was because they were full of viruses - this being the very reason my hardrive crashed in the first place.
The other thing could be that the computer you are using to upload the files onto has some incompatible software. This happened to me once with excel files. The excel files I had saved were on a new version and the computer I tried to upload them on had an older version of excel and it just would not open. Even when it did open it came up as just figures & letters- all gobbledy gook!!

I went to the bad drive which is on slave. went to document/setting. the look at the person file which open, then went to MY Document as well as My desk top and some other files. and it gave me an Error messasge Saying File Access Deined. there are 5 people on the PC I was able to open 3 and look into there MY Document file to save the files from them but there TWO that will not let me in, I think it has to do with a Log in password (which I have) What they want me to do is recovery there files from My Documents
You need to either log on as Admin or as those people. You should then be able to copy (not try to open) the files to somewhere on the new drive.

I use zero assumption recovery, it seems to be very easy and does the job you want.
