Can a person obtain a passport with a warrant for their arrest

I really don't know, but my guess is that you cannot. Besides, I'm not sure I'd be wanting to give them my address.

Course if it's a warrant from a parking ticket you had, I wouldn't worry about it. But, if it's for a felony... How lucky do you feel?

Well can they get one, I guess they can but then the sheriff department may be the ones to deliver it. Not a real good idea.

When issuing passports since 9-11 I am sure that there is an extensive check into the NCIC records to see if you have any outstanding warrants. Not a good move to do on your part unless it was something very minor in nature. If it is minor, take care of it before your apply. It it is major, then skip this idea totally. Sorry.
