For whatever reason, I've always wanted to be chubby, I'm 5ft. 6, 118lbs, and have 9% body fat, and I've always wondered if I should change physiques, I've been willing to try it a couple times, but have always been afraid of the reprocussions, do you think I should, you know, just for the hell of it?

Why would you want to do this to your body? For the fun of it? Please don't do this as your body will not lose the weight as quickly and easily as you think it will once you have packed on say, 50 pounds. Go out and buy a "fat" suit and put that on under your clothes to see if you'd really like to look like this. Also, go to the store and lift a 50 pound bag of dog food and see how much you would like to carry around all that extra weight every day "just for fun".

Are you OK? I mean I have always wondered what it would be like to have cancer, but I ain't thinking about smoking three packs a day and playing in a room full of asbestos? Wow... you hear something new everyday.

Hey with all the people in the world who are trying evey concoction, pills, diets, exercise equipment, known to man to lose weight, I wouldn't wonder too much, from my line of work, (In general), these people who are overweight are not happy, can't find clothes that they like or fit, and are generally unhappy for the most part, plus all the health risks involved, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease. Go to a fast food joint and just look at some of the folks and how they walk, dress and look in general. Hopefully you'll get over this.

Your weight and hight can give you an estimate of your body fat. All over Canada and the US there is a big percentage of people are over weight. In that percentage of over weight people thir is a big concern with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease. You can never forget that they also have back problems. My mother fits in this area and she now uses a cain to walk around in and always complains about her back. From my life experience I would totally recommend that you do not try to get chubby. Here is a quote from Dr. C. Everett Koop's "Men under 39 years of age should have 8-19% body fat, and women under 39 years of age should have 21-32%. Older men may range from 11% to 24%, and older women may range from 23% to 35%". I hope you make the right decision.

I get it. But then I was about your size for many years. When I did get fat, it was because of a hormone screw-up called Depo-Provera. The weight went to my stomach and fights me still, years later.
Where you put the weight on will be according to your heredity and lifestyle as long as you don't mess up your hormones. If I were you, I'd eat healthy and save up to buy some breast enhancement. Then you have the guys falling all over themselves for your fake boobs and small butt.
Being fat is not fun! It's a royal pain! Being fat makes shopping for clothes a drag. It makes it hard to tie your shoes, then your feet hurt because of the extra weight. Fat causes your female organs to hang down and leak. Fat makes sex more difficult, unless you're just lying there. Enjoy your natural thinness it's a blessing.

Get fat just for the hell of it! That doesn't make nonsense. It's not like I'll cut my hair for the hell of it. You need to consider your health. If you do gain weight, exercise to gain muscle not fat.
