Hi, I have dark underarms and this is a big problem now. I have been shaving about twice or thrice a week for about two years now (I used to pluck as my mom instructed). Does shaving result in dark underarms?

Thing is, I'm in University and I have a big party coming up and its going to be held in this big hotel. There's a good chance I'll be selected to be one of the models for the runway show and I'm going to be in a dance number as well. On top of it all, I have this new dress that I really want to wear (black short cocktail dress) but it's sleeveless.

I'm hoping to enjoy the open dance floor as well, but I can't wear a sleeveless dress and dance with dark underarms!

Please, please help me.

The deoderant you are using is burning your skin.

Find some other deoderant. Some companies make cream deoderants. I have used crystal deoderant for many years and have always been happy with it. The crystals are available everywhere where deoderants are sold. The crystals are great because they don't stain your clothes either.
