Why is it some girls are so attached and clingy..
What are some reasons for that?

I mean that's how I am.. but I've notice at the beginning when we first start dating.. I don't have a care in the world.. he can do watever I do my own thing.I am very independent as a person.and also very hard working.. and I hate having to rely on someone for something I need but when I fall in love.. I let myself go.. n they have control over me... n sometimes.. thats a bad thing because they tend to take advantage of your feelings.. n make you cry.Thinking.. oh she's so clingy she will have to talk to me.. even if I mess up.. but as soon as I fall in love and start caring more for this person I get very clingy and protective.. I feel like he's my best friend and comes first in everything.. so friends and family becomes second ;/ why does that tend to happen? I HATE IT!

I don't know how else to put this, so I'll just be blunt. It happens because you allow it to. I doubt you do it on purpose, but putting him first and everything else second is a choice you make. When you get into a relationship, you just have to make a conscious effort to slow things down and keep things straight. You can make sure you stay close with your friends and family by setting certain times to make sure you're with them, not with him. Like, Friday night can be girls night. You get together with your girlfriends and just have fun with them. Turn your phone off too if you have to so that you're really there with your friends and not off in your own world. I found having a hobby also helps. It sounds weird, but I swear it does. At least for me. I took a belly dancing class. It was so much fun. And it was a distraction, for at least one hour every week I was so focused on trying to make my hips move just so that I totally forgot about my boy. And when you're so easily tempted to make someone everything, forgetting them for an hour is great.

Either you have issues you should work on, or he does something that raises these issues. Which is it?

Its me I think.. but then again.. he doesn't talk much or have any communication skills at all.. its always me asking the qs and answering them myself..
