Hi there,
I'm building a new tiled shower with PEX for the supply lines and am trying to understand how to connect the PEX pipe to the showerhead; I was Thinking of using HydroPEX Drop Ear Elbows for the stub out but it looks like its not long enough to fully extend from the finished wall. Is there something else out there to use or is there an extension piece that needs to be connected to the Drop Ear Elbows?
Many thanks

If I understand correctly... you need to install a 1/2" nipple with cap into the drop ear elbow so you can... 1) test the shower piping (actually turn on shower and put full water pressure on for test BEFORE sheetrocking/cement boarding)... and 2) so the sheetrocker or tile person knows where to cut the hole for the shower arm.

If I am getting your question correct, the drop ear elbow can be behind the finish wall a good inch or so if necessary... because the shower arm is about 5 inches long and will easily accommodate the depth.

Hope this helped... if it did please RATE the answer below! Thank you.
