OK. I'm 14 years old and I am def. ready to get a belly button peircing. Only one thing stopping me. I don't have an innie belly button. But I don't have a totally gross outty bellon button either. It pokes out just a tiny bit. I am dying to get a bellon button peircing. But I want to know can I even get a belly button peircing w. my type of belly button? And if I'm able will it even look rite? What type should I get? Please answer back a.s.a.p. thanks so much=].

You shold check out your state laws and make sure you're can even get it pierced yet. In ca (where I'm from) I had to wait until I was 16 to get it done, and I still had to have my guardian come with papers saying he was my guardian and then do all this paper work saying it was OK. And you do need to go to a professional. 1)a professional will be able to tell you if they recommend your piercing and they'll know what they're doing 2)there's way too many things that can go wrong if you don't use a professional

First of all you have to make sure you have parental consent. Otherwise, the piercing is a no-go.
Now if you have parental consent, then yes it is still possible for you to get your belly button pierced. You should still be able to get a traditional belly button piercing if it doesn't stick out too far. If it does, you can actually get the "outie" pierced as well. When you get the outie pierced, it is called a "true navel piercing". This piercing is actually rare so you would be one of just a few with it.
Just one more suggestion. If you do get it, make sure it is pierced with a hoop instead of a barbell. I have seen a lot of problems coming from people that have just had their belly button pierced with a barbell.
Good luck and I hope it all goes well! :)
