We are updating our employee handbooks. We have two locations(california & georgia)with technical reps (new jersey & texas) as well as salesman who live out of state (chicago & colorado).

My question is:
In each handbook are three pamphlets:
1. Your rights to workers compensation benefits.
2. Sexual Harassment
3. EDD-California's programs for the unemployed.

Would the out of state employees be given the pamphlets from California, or would I need to go to each of the state they live in to get the pamphlets for that state?

Thank You!:)

Please remember that first each states workers comp rules are different, in some states employees have full rights to go to the doctor of their choice, in others states they don't, also workers comp rules as to number of days they have to be off and more for benefits all vary. So the booklet has to be written and the employees of each state given their specific rights.

Sexual harassment policy should be the same in most states

Unemployment laws vary greatly by state, and again, that needs to be state specific.

If I live in NJ, but work in PA, and was just laid off, where would I try to claim unemployment?
