I was using my Maytag Neptune washer today and after about 2 loads of laundry, went to start another and all the washer will do is flash a code "D5". Can anyone tell me what this means?

D5= door is open while washer is running. Check the lid switch and striker.

Well I thought it may be like a cat and have 9 lives and the D in D5 meant dead, and the 5 in D5 meant 5 times, so you only had four more lives/ chances left. Just joking around you looks as though esquire has gotten you fixed up.
