My girlfriend is coming home in two weeks! :) :) :)
She's been away for a while and we lost contact for a few weeks but she called me today and told me.
My problem: I'm obviously very happy and relived, but when we talked on the phone we spent most of the call blubbing and I'm worried that when we see each other again there will be an anticlimax and all that fussing might just fizzle out. I was thinking I could take her somewhere, out to dinner maybe, I am just asking what people think of that... I just want a bit of reasurance really so if anyone thinks that might be a good thing to do, I would greatly appreciate if they say.

Yeah you can take her out and have your reunion in a public place, then you two can relax and just talk.
What exactly are you worried about? That the spark between you two may not still be there?

Yes exactly.. I think... when she was in england and we were together there was such a buzz, and it never lulled but I'm worried one of us will have changed, 5 months is a loooong time at my age

Oh well yes a lot can change in that amount of time. If it does, it does. You two are young enough that there will be other people coming in and out of your life. And then you two my end up being great friends.
But have a nice casual chat and see how things go.
